I started this blog after feeling a stirring inside to share my experiences and to express my own opinions regarding things that I’ve seen and experienced in churches over many years. I’m not a novice or some sort of crazy woman with no covering who just spouts off. I choose my words carefully but I also speak frankly. I don’t sugar coat things. I come from a long line of Pastors and have been in full and part time ministry myself. My husband and I both strongly believe that if it’s NOT in the Bible, we don’t believe it. AND as my husband would say, “We ain’t drinkin’ no kool aid”. (I love his sense of humor but it’s true.) You may or may not agree with my views and/or what I have to say – that’s your right and your choosing. BUT if something I say/write touches a chord in you, makes you mad or convicts you then I’m glad because we ALWAYS need to check what we see or the motives behind what we do and to check things against the scripture for sure.
